10 Rillington Place

Описание: 'Mind Behind Murder' was a series for TWW (Television Wales and West) in the Sixties. In 1960 the series had exclusive access to 10 Rillington Place, London, the home of infamous serial killer John Christie. Famously, in 1949 one time lodger at the house, Welshman Timothy Evans, was mistakenly found guilty for the murders of his family who lived with him at 10 Rillington Place, and was executed. Christie, the landlord was later convicted and executed for the crimes. In this clip a relative of Evans asks for an enquiry. Timothy Evans was pardoned in 1966. Evans's case is now seen as a classic 'Miscarriage of Justice' and is often cited as a danger of the 'death penalty'
