Brock randomly got an email from Matt & Abby inviting Brock, Kesley, and me to be on the Unplanned Podcast… so of course we had to make a last-minute trip to Arizona for two days 👀✈️

Bro pulled up to pick me up and immediately gave a car update (yes… he popped his tire on the freeway 😭), so we were already running a little behind. Somehow TSA was a breeze and we didn’t get stopped at all — but then we had to RUN to our gate because we were late again lol.

We landed in Arizona and stayed at Kassie’s grandparents’ house, spent some time outside in the sun, and then I literally got pooped on by a bird 🐦💀 which apparently means good luck… so we’ll see if that’s true.

After that we found some insanely good food (Arizona food spots do not miss), then drove over to Matt & Abby’s house. We got there early and sat in the car talking about all the questions they might ask — from my mission, to family stuff, to life updates.

We ended up talking with them for about two hours and they were genuinely some of the nicest people ever. Such a fun experience and we seriously can’t wait for you guys to see the podcast episode.

We finished the night with frozen yogurt, flew home the next morning, and made it back to Salt Lake City. Short trip, but SUCH a fun memory.
