Описание: Ching Juhl will present a talk about music. She will demonstrate the difference between violin, viola and electronic violin.

Born in Shanghai, educated in China and the US, Ching Juhl, musician/filmmaker has been a member of the Jade String Trio, Phoenix Symphony, Pittsburgh Opera Orchestra and Grant Teton Music Festival. She won the silver prize at Giuranna International Viola Competition, and she performed concerts in Brazil, China, France, Hong Kong, Italy, Switzerland and the United States. She has also played Broadway Shows and performed viola in the Rod Stewart and Perry Como bands.

Educated at New York University (Film), Indiana University (Music) and Shanghai Conservatory of Music, Ching Juhl taught music appreciation, Chinese music, Jazz and Orchestral Studies at St. Joseph’s College and Long Island University for 15 years. She directs and teaches violin at Music Studio Manhattan.
