Softball team dedicates games to Lauren Hill

Описание: MOUNT ST. JOSEPH UNIVERSITY (WKRC) -- There was a special tribute to Lauren Hill at the Mount St. Joseph University softball game on Sunday, both teams wore specially-made, gray jerseys. Gray is the color of brain cancer awareness. The jerseys had "never give up" on the front and "HILL 22" on the back. Balloons were released before the game. Lauren's basketball teammates were there. Her head coach, Dan Benjamin, is also an assistant coach for the softball team."We've been pretty close, said Beth Goderwis. We've kept in real close contact with things that have been happening with Lauren. and it's just a beautiful day and Im sure Laurens looking down on us with a big smile on her face."A moment of silence was held before the game. Mount St. Joseph is part of the heartland conference.
