In this lecture EKG is going to cover drug metabolism. We're going to look at the processes involved in drug metabolism, including phase 1 and phase 2 reactions, as well as the key enzymes that catalyse these reactions. We're also going to break down the CYP450 system and explore what induces and inhibits these enzymes.
