I Completed the Astronaut Training Experience at NASA!

Описание: I was very fortunate to have recently visited the Kennedy Space Center in Orlando, Florida, where we took part in the 3 day Astronaut Training Experience. The program included:
various simulations of commanding a lander and rover
experiencing microgravity while working on ISS maintenance tasks
using VR to conduct survey missions on the Mars surface
learning about daily life on the International Space Station
learning about what it would take to manage a base on mars, including programming rovers, growing crops and the logistics of running a manned base
tours of the Apollo and SpaceX launch sites
visits to museums dedicated to the Apollo and space shuttle programs, including seeing the Atlantis shuttle up close and artefacts from the moon landings
meeting veteran astronaut Bill McArthur, who had travelled on three different shuttles (Columbia, Atlantis and Discovery) as well as the Russian Soyuz.
