24x7 Judicial Mechanism is under consideration as the Supreme Court of India examines a Standard Operating Procedure (SOP) to ensure emergency judicial access in cases involving life and personal liberty. If implemented, the proposed 24x7 Judicial Mechanism could allow urgent constitutional matters such as illegal detention, custodial violence, imminent demolitions, deportations, and other emergency situations to be heard even beyond regular court hours.
