Sylra returned to the Great Goblin tavern to warn Jar’od that her family may be a threat to him, though he seemed unshaken by the news and even offered to help her.

The caravan got moving once more, leaving Hardova behind and heading out on the long road north. Stopping to camp for the night, Brielle and Rhowan find a nice area to continue their lessons over some stargazing where Brielle made a breakthrough with her abilities to enlarge herself. During that time, a reluctantly vulnerable Wren attempts to build a bit more of a connection to Sylra who is appreciative, if taken aback a bit by the gesture.

They passed many small villages until suddenly coming to a stop in Anidale due to a goblin ambush. The party fought hard to push back the attack, and protect the people of the caravan, until facing off with the hobgoblin captain behind the assault. He nearly made short work of their new friend Arie, who was kept alive by Rhowan’s healing magic, before the captain was slain by Wren. Once all was settled, they discovered a number of villagers tied and gagged in one of the buildings.
