For the last video of this day, I had travelled 40 track-miles west to the coal-dust control sprayer at C.P. Carlin. This is either somewhat interesting or incredibly boring. According to the CP website, "To prevent coal coming out of rail cars during transport, coal trains are also sprayed with an environmentally benign glue-like polymer en route from the mines to export facilities -- first at the mines, and then again at our Tappen, BC re-spray facility. This reduces the chances of the coal shifting." The coal train I caught here at Mile 74.25 North on the CP Shuswap Sub was the same train I had videoed earlier at Taft Road. If you go to Google, select Maps and paste in 50°49'51.0"N 119°19'45.3"W you'll see the location of the cameras for this video.
