Stack It Up es un tema con matices de pop urbano que cuenta con todos los ingredientes para convertirse en uno de los grandes himnos de la temporada. Ha sido compuesta por Ed Sheeran, Steve Mac, Fred Gibson y Boogie y grabada en Reino Unido. De sus elementos más destacados encontramos una percusión caribeña y una letra muy juguetona. Precisamente Sheeran y Mac son dos de los nombres con los que ya trabajó en su anterior hit: Strip That Down.

En palabras del propio artista: "Esta canción va dirigida concretamente a los que la escuchan por la mañana. Intento inspirar a esa gente que va a trabajar, inspirarla para que disfruten de su trabajo, consigan ese ascenso o den un paso más".
