During our stay we checked into the Family Studio Room at the Cairns Colonial Club Resort, which is perfect for families travelling with kids. The room comfortably sleeps a family with a king bed and 2 single beds, giving everyone their own space.

The studio also includes:
• Air conditioning
• Mini fridge and kitchenette
• Private bathroom
• 2x Tvs
• 2x Aircons
• Easy access to the 3x resort pools

The resort itself is huge and great for families, with multiple lagoon-style swimming pools, tropical gardens, a restaurant, bar, and plenty of space for kids to run around. It’s also only a short drive into the Cairns CBD and the Esplanade.

🌙 Cairns Night Markets

After checking in we headed into the Cairns Night Markets, one of the best night spots in Cairns. There are loads of food stalls, dessert shops, souvenirs, massages, and local market stalls all under one roof. It’s a fun and affordable place to explore at night with the family.
