Hello Comrades;

Here I have tried to Address few question asked by the aspirants. I am new to this, apologies for my expression-less face :P; mistake if any . Will try to improvise and upload more, depending on the demand.

1. What optional and why?
Choose your optional based on your interest (if graduation in same subject it is better) and looking at the trend of marking. Technical Graduates and science Graduates who doesn’t want to take their subjects can take optional like Geography, Anthropology, History, Agriculture, economy etc based on their interest. If we observe the recent trend also, it can be seen that these subjects are scoring. But main thing is the interest in the subject

2. How to prepare while working?
I made sure that I study for 6-8 hours daily. Iam a morning bird and not a night owl, i wake up early 4.30 am or by max 6 am. I prepare a time table for myself and followed it as a rule of thumb. Before going office or to the field I make sure that I study for 3-4hours, then in the office I read the news papers and some related GS. After coming back, from 5-9 or 6-9 pm I make sure I study for 3-4 hours, then after having my dinner I use to watch RSTV debates. That’s how I cleared my UPSC prelims from Daporijo in 2016.
3. Previous year’s questions:
I have most of it; I will consolidate and share.
4. Is fluency in English essential?
It is good if you have it, as it boosts your confidence. But it is fine if you don’t have it, you can speak in Hindi as well. I have seen some friends who are not comfortable in English but cleared. Bu try to write correct English as it is needed for mains.
5. How to prepare from village
When I was in Dapo in 2016 network was pathetic there, I use to tell my friends to send me the Magazines and other PDFs in mail. Then, I would go to the NIC in the district and get them downloaded. Thats how, I updated my News apps also. Also, I used to keep a list of things which needs to be searched in Internet and whenever I get into a place with Good connectivity or internet access i Make sure that I work on completing the list.

Finally:
Understanding Syllabus and its nuances will need to be discussed in detail, it will need good amount of time and space. I will need to come up with PPTs and Charts. As, I am new to this platform, will have the endeavour only if there is a demand for the same from the aspirants.
