Описание: The Vancouver Youth Choir, under the direction of Carrie Tennant, performs “Canzone rò curtiell'" by La Mossa. Composer: Emmanuelle Ader. Recorded on April 21, 2024 at the BCIT Aerospace Technology Campus in Richmond, BC.

From the composer: It's a song of anger, written for all those times when we can't find the words to defend ourselves. In these situations, sometimes words don't come, or we don't dare express our anger.

Here are a few phrases from the text that were incredibly powerful:

When I go for a walk with my friends
I always find you there with your big mouth
I told you to get out of my way
If you show off with me
I sing you this song like a slap in your face!

Hey! Pig's face!
When you come out of the dark
with your dripping mouth
I want to teach you a lesson

In front of you I become a storm
If you're a pig with me
I become a black cat
