Lumix GH5 | How to film the Earth from space

Описание: This footage shows how to film the earth from space and was captured with a modified Lumix GH5 and Laowa 7.5mm f/2 MFT lens (using Micro 4/3 adaptor). While many of our internal flights use modified action cameras to keep weight at a minimum, for corporate clients we don't hold back.

The Laowa lens offers an Ultra Wide Angle giving 110 degrees field of view, perfect for capturing the immensity of our planet. Despite this, the rectilinear lens setup means there is almost no barrel distortion. Flat Earthers, take note: this is a true-to-life capture of the curvature of the Earth.

Focusing at infinity and shooting from such a great distance gives an incredible sharpness, and the slight vignetting for which the lens is known only highlights the beauty of the natural landscape.

Making a GH5 operate in space is not as simple as hitting record and launching it on a flight.
