Описание: In his TEDx talk, Dr. Saeed suggests an innovative approach to addressing the digital divide that enables the poor to help themselves instead of the traditional model. Representing Laurier’s BTM faculty, Dr. Saeed plans to discuss topics of global citizenship, digital inequality, societies’ relationship with technology, and our purpose in all of this. He has a Ph.D. in Information Systems, is a Wilfrid Laurier professor, and is a strong advocate for humanitarian rights.
