Yoga is the process of remembering and returning to who and what we truly are - becoming established in that truth - and engaging with life as fully realized human beings - genuinely happy and free.
This practice is oriented toward discerning the real from the unreal. Our innate from our acquired ways of being.
We will slow the mind down a bit and give it a sense of purpose by uniting it with the breath - this will lead to greater clarity through which to perceive the thoughts and impressions contained within the mind so we can determine if they are truly who we are or something we’ve been conditioned to be.
Then we will engage in a simple practice of releasing what we are not and inviting an experience of pranava - a reality which is ever fresh, eternally new - through the sound of om.
