Slice and Dice: TZ-1800 by Rubi Tools

Описание: One of the most popular floor coverings today, is Porcelain Plank Tiles. They're made to look like wood in texture & size, such as this tile which is 59" long! These long plank tiles look beautiful installed but cutting them is a challenge. Years ago I purchased a giant tile saw that can cut up to 61" tile, but it needs a large working area to setup, its' heavy, and cuts slow.

The last plank tile job that I did had a set of stairs that we tiled, and stairs mean 1 thing lots & lots of cuts! When I was preparing for this project and realized we were installing plank tile on a set of stairs I thought of how long it would take to simply make all those cuts on my saw. I called my friends at Rubi Tools to see how I can speed up my cuts. They generously sent me their latest cutter, the TZ-1800.

Rubi's TZ-1800 can cut up to 61"tile in a few seconds! Just score & snap. This cutter saved me sooo much time making long cuts. I was literally able to cut and install the stairs in 1 day...alone. The cuts came out clean and precise. I'm so amazed with this tool, that I'm nominating it for "Best Tile Tool of 2023"!

Even thought the tool itself is long, it has wheels for easy manuvering and only weighs 79 lbs. It fold up into a padded protective case that it comes with, which also has wheels. The case has a zipper pouch to store the tools & accessories that it comes with.

The TZ-1800 can cut up to 7/8" tile, with it's impressive 3300lbs of breaking power.

This tool is a must have for any large format tile. Making long cuts on a saw takes time and can get messy controlling the water that runs off the tile edges. With this cutter you can make long cuts without water and more importantly within seconds.
