There is also a direct ferry departing from Portofino and arriving at Santa Margherita Ligure. The journey takes approximately 15 min. Ferry boats operate along the coast from March through October. You can also walk from Portofino to Santa Margherita Ligure along the coast enjoying the best views from a sidewalk or boardwalk running along the seaside of the road. The distance between Portofino and Santa Margherita Ligure is 3 km.
