This Doppelmayr T-Bar was installed in 2012 to provide access to the new Mt. Stickney glades. After years of proposals for a chairlift served Mt. Stickney expansion, it was decided that it would only become a glade skiing area serviced by a T-Bar. The glades are nice glades great for learning on.
This lift uses a Doppelmayr monopod drive and tension combo. The drive motor is electric, but because of the lack of electricity in the area, a diesel-powered generator needs to run to provide the lift with electricity. That generator is manufactured by Doosan. The T spacing is very large in order to keep trail crowding to a minimum.
