The Dublin Comic Arts Festival (DCAF) is an art festival that specialises in highlighting the growing comic arts community in Dublin, Ireland.
Within the creative arts space "The Complex", DCAF has shown just how rich in talent the Dublin comic arts community is and the potential for it to grow. With "The Comics Lab", DCAF has been able to host workshops and exhibitions that help build up the community and highlight how it can continue to grow through exhibitional encouragement and art sharing.
Hosting a space where artists can present and trade their work in person is integral to keeping the Dublin comic arts community alive.
"The Complex" has allowed DCAF to reach more people than ever and at the moment the venue is at risk of being shut down. Its only though community support and action that the venue can be saved and continue to be a massively important creative space for the arts and cultural community in Ireland. #savethecomplex
