BLAISE CASTLE PARKRUN! A great parkrun located to the South West of England around Blaise Castle Estate in Bristol! This fairly hilly parkrun utilises multiple different terrains including grass, trail and tarmac paths and is a stunning parkrun, especially in the sun! Join me as I provide an in-depth review of the Blaise Castle Parkrun experience.

A 2 lap course, starting adjacent to the car park, running along the grass, around the field into the woods, returning out and onto the path. Two laps of a circular, anti-clockwise route around the main field and through the woods. The course is suitable for buggies, however, it is field based, so you will need to be wary in poor weather.

Dogs are allowed at Blaise Castle parkrun along with buggies / prams. There are toilets near to the start at the cafe next to the parking on Blaise Castle Estate. As the route is on a mixture of different terrains, I would definitely recommend trail shoes. In the winter months when the ground is hard, road shoes may be OK. In terms of how busy the parkrun is, it has an average number of participants of around 261. This is not an issue as the start is on an open field so there is plenty of space for overtaking to get to your pace. With it being fairly hilly and mostly on grass, it doesn't have the potential for a PB!

The weather great on the day and the sun was out. The atmosphere was great and there were some great volunteers to keep you going! This is the 41st parkrun I have recorded on the channel of which you can find a playlist of them on my channel!
