Formed in 1997, the British pop group consisted of Claire Richards, Lee Latchford-Evans, Lisa Scott-Lee, Faye Tozer, and Ian "H" Watkins. The group had two #1 singles in the UK, two #1 albums and fourteen consecutive top 5 hits. They sold over 20 million albums worldwide, received a BRIT award nomination in 1998 and opened for Britney Spears on tour. In 2001, when Claire and H left, the group officially disbanded. The group reunited in 2012 and again in 2017.
Their first greatest hits album, Gold peaked at #1 in the UK. Two official singles were released and a promo single. Shortly after the tour for the album concluded, it was announced that Claire and H had left the band, leading to the group's breakup.
Released as the second single from the album, Words Are Not Enough was released alongside I Know Him So Well. The single peaked at #5 in the UK.
