L3Harris Technologies, in collaboration with Arkansas Gov. Sarah Huckabee Sanders and other state and local leaders, has commenced construction on the Arkansas Advanced Propulsion Facilities (AAPF) in Camden. The expansive campus, spanning over 110 acres, will feature more than 20 buildings dedicated to the production of solid rocket motors (SRM). This development is set to increase the company's manufacturing capacity six-fold, focusing on medium and large rocket motors essential for tactical and air defense missiles, missile defense targets, interceptors, and hypersonic vehicles.
