Описание: Kim and I have been to Maui (The Valley Isle) a number of times over the past three decades. Each time we've spent most of our trip in the coastal areas. Each time we've gazed up at the grandeur of Haleakala and thought --sure would be nice to go up there. Well, this time we hauled ourselves up the mountainside's switchback road, above the clouds and through the US National Park gate (using our America The Beautiful, Senior Lifetime pass - "it expires when you expire") to an elevation of +10,023 feet. We're glad we did. The views were SPECTACULAR! It was a little chilly, but we won't complain, because the kids around us were wearing short-shorts...burrrrrr. Haleakala is a dormant volcano forming the south-east landmass of the Valley Isle. Take a half-day when your there next time and climb the mountain. Shot with the INSTA360 x4.
