It started with a heist.
Pleasant Hill, California — a quiet morning shattered as suspects used brute force to hijack a Core-Mark delivery truck outside a 7-Eleven. The prize? Over 270 cartons of cigarettes. The suspects didn’t just run—they flew.

What followed was pure chaos.From the bustling streets of Pleasant Hill to the high-speed arteries of Concord, via Interstate 680, CA-242, CA-4, the black Honda tore through highways, twisting into Bay Point and weaving recklessly into Pittsburg. But the nightmare wasn’t over. When they hit Antioch, the residential streets were transformed into a danger zone—15 minutes of madness as the suspects showed no regard for life or law, barreling down quiet neighborhoods at breakneck speeds.

The pursuit hit its climax in a thunderous crash—first slamming into a white sedan at a crossroad, then smashing through a fence into an elementary school. The chase was over… or so they thought.

Authorities originally believed they were after three suspects. Then three became four. One suspect tried escaping through backyards, only to be stopped cold by a Sheriff’s K-9, jaws locking the end of his run. Two others were caught instantly escaping school grounds. Another tried escaping through the middle school next door.

But the tension didn’t break.
As the Sheriff’s STARR 3 helicopter roared away and officers began to stand down, one final patrol unit made a chilling discovery—a fifth suspect, a female, hiding in the girls’ bathroom inside the school. A final burst of radio chatter, the sharp bark of the K-9 echoing across the airwaves—and then... silence. All five caught.
