CORRUPTION IS TIED TO EMOTIONS - The Diamonds' Breakdown | Steven Universe Theory

Описание: Songs and feelings are two very big parts of Steven Universe. Music portrays emotions. It all ties together. One of the major musical number on Steven Universe is in the episode That Will Be All with the song What's The Use Of Feeling Blue? The song's name has more than one meaning. What's The Use Of Feeling Blue?, as in why be sad. And What's The Use Of Feeling, Blue?, as is why have these feelings, Blue Diamond. By the end of the song Yellow Diamond started to breakdown; not something that she normally does. Yellow Pearl's and Blue Pearl's reactions were frightened. They knew this happing was a bad thing. According to Steven, corruption was caused by the Diamonds with a song. The Diamonds involved with corruption were Yellow, Blue and White Diamond (Pink Diamond was already shattered at the time). By the end of the war the Diamonds would've been feeling at a loss. What if the corruption song was caused by an emotional outburst from all three Diamonds? In The Trial when Blue Diamond cried so did all of the gems in the room, but not Lars - the human. Corruption like this only affects gems. The angrier/sadder Centipeetle and Jasper got, the quicker they corrupted. Yellow Diamond may be a tyrant, yet she values the work of her gems. She controls her emotions over Pink Diamond so she won't harm anyone. Feelings really are important on Steven Universe.
