The defence secretary, Ben Wallace, apologised to the Commons after the sharing of more than 250 email addresses of former Afghan interpreters trapped in the country after the Taliban takeover last month. Wallace told MPs that one person had been suspended, an internal inquiry had been launched and 'security advice' was being provided to Afghans fearful they may have been identified
