86Box vs PCem - Running Windows 98 SE

Описание: 86Box and PCem are PC emulators, programs designed to emulate the experience of x86-based PCs dating from the 1970s to the early 2000s. The difference between them and virtual machines is that instead of having the operating system interface with your hardware directly, your PC emulates a series of ROMs that correspond to a series of hardware from motherboards to graphics cards.

The main advantage of this is that it helps you run applications that require the use of compatible hardware, such as games from an earlier era of computing that have yet to be properly adapted to run on modern PCs or more broadly 8-16-bit applications that struggle to run even with the use of compatibility layers like OTVDM.

In this video, I will be comparing both emulators to see which one is more capable of simulating an accurate 90s gaming experience with Windows 98 SE.
