Surgery is often the frontline treatment for TGCT, whether arthroscopic or open approach. Additionally, many patients receive palliative care for operations and during their TGCT journey.
TGCT Support is pleased to announce this webinar about Surgery and Pain Management. We would like to introduce the Experts, Drs. R Lor Randall and Dr. David Copenhaver, who will discuss the intricate nature of surgery and treatment of pain symptoms pre/post operatively.
Dr. Randall is an internationally recognized sarcoma surgeon, educator and researcher, and the Chair of the Department of Orthopaedic Surgery at UC Davis. He holds the David Linn Endowed Chair in Orthopaedic Surgery.
Dr. Copenhaver is a well-recognized anesthesiologist and pain specialist, educator, the Chief of the Division of Pain and the Director of Cancer Pain Management and Supportive Care at UC Davis. He has been well distinguished with many teaching awards and is highly published.
