Описание: This video shows a sloshing experiment undertaken at the University of Bristol as part of the EU funded SLOW-D project which focuses on exploiting fuel sloshing to reduce the dynamics loads experienced in-flight. A scaled wing structure with representative 70% full fuel tanks is deflected and then released. The resulting measured fluid and structural motions are used to gain understanding of the physics involved in such fluid-structure interactions and to provide validation test cases for the computational models that have been developed in SLOW-D.
