Doing business in Latin America: business trip to Paraguay (the 0% tax haven)

Описание: I’m launching a new ecommerce business! After selling my first company last year, I am finally all set on a new project… and I’m unveiling it in this first vlog episode.

Long story short, I couldn’t receive my sample products in Argentina where I’m currently based due to their import rules... So I had them shipped to the neighboring Paraguay.

In my first video, I document my trip to Asunción, the capital of Paraguay, where I spent a week testing my sample products, exploring the local culture, and seeking business opportunities to enter the Mercosur market.

Paraguay has one of the most stable economies in Latin America, and business investments are at an all time peak. It’s also a popular residency destination for digital entrepreneurs thanks to its 0% tax policies. And, as a Mercosur member, Paraguay has access to a market with about 300 million people, which includes countries like Argentina and Brazil.

But what’s life really like in Paraguay? And how's business here? I’ll dive into all that while also revealing my new ecommerce project.
