During the final song, the percussionists ignited their sticks and continued playing with burning flames — a spectacular moment which I never seen before in Guggenmusik performances.

Schlappschwänz Frenkendorf are known in the Basel-Landschaft region for their energetic brass sound, tight rhythm section and strong carnival presence. At Liestaler Fasnacht 2026, they combined traditional Swiss Guggenmusik power with a visually explosive finish.
