Vintage watch collecting is high risk, high reward. I review a 1970 vintage Wakmann chronograph and talk about the history behind the Russian immigrant and the American watch company he created.
This Reverse panda chrono shares a case with Breitling, a dial from the maker of the Paul Newman Daytona and a movement with the Speedmaster.
This obscure brand had an illustrious history in the post WWII era, and though Wakmann never manufactured their own watches, they built and assembled wonderful, iconic high-quality chronographs between the 1940s and 1970s.
