Reth is an Ethereum Execution Layer in development since 2022, focused on contributor-friendliness, modularity and performance.
In 2024, after rigorous testing and security review, Reth had its first 1.0 prod-ready release.
In this talk, we review the process of shipping a state of the art & novel Ethereum node, and lay out Reth's plans for the next years.
