7/17 where i’m at yap session 9:

i wanted to go a LOT more in depth ab how incredibly important this video is
but i had to keep it brief so ppl didn’t click off. i’ll just do it here instead. The channel has been flopping as of late. Im scared the algorithm has abandoned me again. The only reason im not certain it has is cuz I’ve been trying to balance college, a social life, my job and weekly uploads on youtube and it’s resulted in not so great videos. this could mean the videos are simply flopping because of their quality. if that’s true then this video will be my bounce back. but on my last channel i was dropping peak and it didn’t matter. my biggest video on this channel was originally released on my old one. it got less than 400 views on that one, and is on pace for 100k on this channel. this goes to show how random the algorithm is. i’d love to look back on this video a week from now and laugh at myself for over-exaggerating its importance, but right now i’m just terrified. anyone that has seen my first video knows how bad of a headspace i was in when i created this channel and i’d hate to go back. like bro i’ve made maybe 50 different youtube channels since i was a kid and this is the first one that’s gotten monetized. “They Didn’t Fit in” was actually the last successful video i released on my old channel. it’s almost poetic that the same video can revive another channel for good.
So this is either the greatest redemption arc ever, or this video flops as well and this channel is cooked. please share this yall, the stuff i got in the tank will not dissapoint.
