A highlight of our successful Blues Cruise, which was the 3rd instalment of the Contraband Sessions in 2021.
Contraband Sessions is a series of monthly curated thematic musical events, featuring Sudanese local talents and upcoming artists. In Vol 3, the audience was warmed up by a selection of music by DJ Fazari followed by an acoustic sundowner session with soul and blues music, performed by Tahleel (Salute Yal Bannot) and Riva, along with a live band consisting of Bashar Degna (Guitar), Mohamed Siddig (Electric Guitar), Hazim Awad (Bass), Ahmed Salah (Drummer) and Mohamed Bilal (Keys).
