In this episode, I break down the real creative decisions behind Max vs Bunny — my AI-generated short that started as a massive kaiju battle and ended as a tight, comedic sumo match. The AI was happy to give me epic scale and destruction. But scale wasn't helping the story.

I'll show you what was in my original script versus what made it to screen, and why I cut both the opening and the ending — not because the AI told me to, but because pacing demanded it.

This is where most new AI filmmakers get stuck: they fall in love with a beautiful shot or a clever moment the AI generated that feels "too good to cut." But AI doesn't understand restraint. It doesn't feel pacing. It doesn't know when less is more.

AI can give you options, speed, and variations. But it can't tell you which version actually works. That part is still on you — and honestly, that's a good thing.
