The Delhi blast probe team has arrested another doctor, Dr. Shaheen Shahid, from Pulwama in connection with the Red Fort car explosion incident. The blast occurred near the Red Fort in Delhi on November 10, 2025, killing 13 people and injuring over 20.

The investigation revealed that the car used in the blast was traced to several doctors from Kashmir, including Dr. Umar Un Nabi, believed to have been driving the car which exploded, and two other doctors arrested recently in connection with a larger terror network. The arrested individuals are suspected to be part of a "white collar" terror module involved in the procurement and transportation of explosive materials, including ammonium nitrate and RDX.

Dr. Shaheen Shahid's arrest adds to the crackdown on this terror module, which was uncovered following intelligence inputs and seizures of large caches of explosives in Faridabad. Authorities are continuing to investigate connections between the doctors and terror groups like Jaish-e-Mohammed. The Delhi Police have registered FIRs under sections of the Unlawful Activities (Prevention) Act related to terrorism, murder, and explosives for this case.
