Using WIFI to connect LIGHTBURN and OLM 3 and get rid of the USB CABLE. For me this would be great as I use a laptop and my hand has hit the USB cable and multiple instances and caused the connection to be lost. The other thing is I put the OLM 3 on workbench with wheels so I can roll it around the garage.
This was first burn and everything worked as it should. I have done many more burns since then and so far so good.. I did have an issue reconnecting but I think it was maybe router assigned the OLM 3 a new IP. I did not actually check.
At that point I just assigned that IP ADDRESS that the OLM 3 uses as STATIC in my GOOGLE WIFI so it does not change.. I will make a video on how to set it up as I just wanted to see if it actually worked. So far so good! But need to do some longer engraves and hope no connections drops!
