This video looks at two of the Slavic creation gods – Rod, the supreme god, and Svarog, god of blacksmithing and the sky, who created the world together according to one tradition. Interestingly, the Slavic peoples had a strong dualistic worldview, and so most of their creation myths are characterized by two gods, sometimes one light and one dark, who create the world, as opposed to only one major creator god.
