The Volcano in Oahu; The Honolulu Volcanics

Описание: The most densely populated Hawaiian island is Oahu. Those who live on the island likely think that its volcanoes are completely extinct, but this is not necessarily the case with one of them. Looking around the island, a number of large explosion craters can be seen such as Punchbowl Crater and Diamond Head. These represent eruptions from the latest phase of the overall volcano's activity, which might potentially continue at the present. Although unlikely, this potentially dormant volcano could theoretically erupt again in the distant future.
