The Western Cape Department of Transport and Public Works has acceded to the call to upgrade learner safety around six schools situated on the same road at Site B in Khayelitsha on the Cape Flats. The Department together with the provincial education department and other stakeholders including Childsafe, Road Safety Management and the City of Cape Town have this week launched a new Junior Traffic Training Centre at Sakumlandela Primary School in Bangiso Drive in Khayelitsha.
