On Thursday the 18th of October MCPA held its first 'Family Learning Afternoon', this was a format designed by the parent focus group to replace the 'Parent Projects' from last year.
Once a year, parents will have the opportunity to come into school and join their child in class for an afternoon of interactive learning, all about their class book.
This afternoon saw children (and parents) in Y4 acting-out their own versions of scenes from 'George's Marvelous Medicine'.
The afternoon ended with a family quiz, based on the content of the half-term's topic knowledge organiser.
All the parents expressed how happy they were with the new sessions, with a couple saying they didn't want to leave!
