Today we are exploring food and cooking in french Fairy tales published in the late XVIIth century, in Charles Perrault's fairy tales but also Madame d'Aulnoy and le Comte de Caylus.
The Donkey Skin cake comes from a book published in the late 90s, La Cuisine des fées, now available in second handshop or on ebay.
