Part of a series of videos demonstrating different models of Monette Instruments. In this series, Charlie Porter plays the same excerpts on a variety of Monette instruments.
Some excerpts are included twice: once with the audio from a close-up microphone (close mic) and again with a microphone further away from the player (room mic). This is done so that the difference can be heard between what the instrument sounds like up close and what it sounds like from a distance.

The MF-STC is an excellent all-around trumpet for players who prefer lighter weight instruments, and it is the most popular horn we make for lead and commercial playing. This horn has the easiest upper register, and extreme upper register, of any horn we have ever made. Our standard-weight Resonance mouthpieces work great on the MF-STC for classical and small-group playing, and our Resonance-LT and XLT weight lead mouthpieces are great for commercial and lead work.
The MF-STC is made in both RAJA and non-RAJA configurations.
