ED Arrests Satyendra Jain, AAP Accuses BJP Of Misusing The Agencies For Political Gains | AAP VS BJP

Описание: The Enforcement Directorate (ED) had arrested Satyendra Jain on charges of money laundering a day earlier. While the Aam Adami Party (AAP) accused the BJP of misusing the agencies for political gains, the BJP leaders demanded the dismissal of Jain from the cabinet.

“This is happening for the first time in Delhi’s history that a cabinet minister is in jail on charges of corruption. The AAP claims to be the most honest government but fails to sack its minister who is accused of money laundering and has been arrested by Enforcement Directorate,” said Adesh Gupta, President of Delhi BJP.

Scores of BJP workers gathered near Kejriwal’s Flagstaff Road residence on Tuesday afternoon. As they started their march towards his residence, they were stopped by the police. The protesters shouted slogans against Kejriwal, AAP, and Satyendra Jain.

“The AAP leaders are claiming that Jain was arrested a day after he was made the in-charge of Himachal Pradesh for the upcoming elections. I want to ask Kejriwal, how many ministers were arrested when they contested and won the polls in Delhi. They are making silly excuses to defend Jain. If they lose, they accuse the EVMs, I want to ask Kejriwal, how many EVMs were hacked when they won the Delhi elections,” said Gupta.
