Delhi is famous for its monuments, government buildings, gardens and museums. The city is an assorted canvas of different styles of architecture as it was the capital of many kingdoms. Most rulers built magnificent structures in Delhi during their era. Monuments like the Jama Masjid, Red Fort, Qutab Minar, Humayun’s tomb, and many others stand witness to the bygone era. Other buildings like the India Gate, Lotus Temple, Akshardham Temple etc. are worth visiting owing to their beautiful architecture and design.
