Here I have shared the Sudasha Brata Special Manda Pitha Recipe.Manda Pitha is a traditional steamed sweet dumpling originating from Odisha, India.This is frequently prepared during festivals like, Sudasha Brata,Raja Parba, Dashahara,Manabasa Gurubara etc.It is characterized by a soft outer covering made of rice flour and a sweet aromatic filling made of Chena, Coconut, Jaggery, Dryfruits and Spices.Here I have shared very soft and delicious Odisha Famous Manda Pitha which is easily prepared with minimum ingredients.
Ingredients For Manda Pitha
Arua Chaula/Raw Rice -300gm
Dahi Chena/Cheese -250gm
Nadia/Coconut -250gm
Gud/Jaggery -400gm
Kaju/Cashew Nuts -
Gujurati/Cardamom
Desi Ghee
Chini/Sugar -50gm
Luna/Salt
Water
Preparation Time -About 1hour.
