KTM recently launched the 2025 250 Duke in India with many functional and visual updates. With these updates, the new KTM 250 Duke is also pricier than the older model by a few thousand rupees. But, what’s changed on the latest 250 Duke? Let’s take a closer look.

New Colour TFT

KTM 250 Duke TFT / Instrument Cluster
The Austrian quarter-litre streetfighter comes equipped with a new five-inch colour TFT display from the KTM 390 Duke. This instrument cluster packs new graphics and comes with smartphone connectivity, turn-by-turn navigation, headset connection, and more. The headset pairing can be done via the KTM Connect App.

New fascia and colours

The new 250 Duke also features an updated fascia with boomerang-shaped LED DRLs, similar to the KTM 390 Duke. Apart from these changes, the motorcycle remains unchanged visually. 250 Duke is available in 4 colour options: Ebony Black, Black and Blue, Ceramic White, Electronic Orange

New switchgear and ride modes

The switchgear too has been revised on the 2025 KTM 250 Duke. It gets a new four-way menu switch layout to access the various controls of the TFT screen. Similar to the rest of the updates, the new switchgear, too, is borrowed from the 390 Duke.

Riders can also choose between two selectable ride modes – Street and Track, which can easily toggled via the TFT display. In Track mode, the TFT display’s graphics are transformed into a more race-focused version. It displays the enlarged rev counter, lap timer, and shows the preferred rider aid settings.

Potent powertrain

Powering the updated KTM 250 Duke is the same 248cc, single-cylinder engine as the older model. This liquid-cooled motor makes 30bhp at 9,250rpm and a peak torque of 25Nm at 7,250rpm. The engine is paired with a six-speed gearbox that benefits from a bi-directional quickshifter and an assist and slipper clutch.

Updated pricing

All these updates have come with a price bump of nearly Rs. 6,000. The new KTM 250 Duke costs Rs. Rs. 2.45 lakh (ex-showroom, Delhi).
