Today I’m reacting to Judas Priest – “The Hellion / Electric Eye” for the first time!
As someone coming from a Hip-Hop background, I wasn’t sure what to expect… but WOW. The vocals were on another level. The way Rob Halford switches tones so effortlessly is insane. From controlled power to piercing highs — legendary.
And that guitar solo?? Absolutely unreal. Heavy metal pioneers for a reason.
What really stood out to me is how ahead of its time this concept was. “Electric Eye” feels more relevant today than ever — surveillance, technology, watching everything… it hits different in modern America.
